Contests on Audius let you run remix contests and creative challenges for the community and reward the entries you love. Each contest gets its own dedicated page where listeners can read the rules, download stems, follow along for updates, and browse submissions.

Hosting a Contest
How to Host a Contest
On the sidebar you'll find a Contests option with a trophy icon. Clicking this will take you to a page where you can see all the contests on Audius right now. To create your own contest, tap the Create Contest button in the header. Next you'll be guided through a simple form covering everything you'll need to run your own contest:
- Contest Title: The name of your contest (which can be distinct from the title of your track).
- Description: What the contest is about, the rules, and how submissions will be judged.
- Video Link (optional): Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL to embed an announcement, walkthrough or hype video on the page.
- Submission Deadline: Date and time, in your local timezone. (A live countdown is shown on the contest page).
- Cover Photo (optional): Artwork for the contest page. If you skip this, the source track's artwork is used.
- Prizes (optional): A freeform field where you can outline any prizes you plan to offer, broken down however you'd like (1st, 2nd, 3rd, honorable mentions, etc.).
- Source Track: The track participants will remix. Any stems uploaded with that track are made available on the contest page for download.
Don't have stems on your source track yet? You can add or update them from inside the contest form before launching. This lets participants grab everything they need directly from the contest page.
When you're ready, hit Launch. Your contest goes live with its own dedicated page which you can share to spread the word.
Updates, Followers, and Comments
Anyone can follow your contest to get notified when it ends, when winners are picked, and when you post updates. As the host, you have a dedicated Updates feed on the contest page where you can post announcements, attach a video, and reach every follower at once.
Listeners and participants can leave comments below, and you can co-sign favorite submissions with a like or a repost. Co-signed entries get a small pink check mark to signal your stamp of approval.
Picking Winners
Once submissions are in, you can mark up to five winners directly from your contest page. Winners get pinned to the top of the submissions list under a Winners section so they're easy to find later. All followers and participants will be notified once you finalize your winners.
Joining a Contest
Find a Contest
Browse the Contests section to see every active contest on Audius. Each one shows the contest title, the host, and how long is left until the deadline. Open a contest to read the full description, follow for updates, watch any embedded video, and download the available stems.
Submit Your Remix
Make sure to read the rules and download the stems before you start working. When your remix is ready, go to the contest page and click Enter Contest to upload your submission.
Once you have completed the upload form your submission will be visible on the page under the submissions tab.
Follow the Contest
Anyone can tap the Follow button on the contest page to receive notifications about the contest, including updates from the host and more. It's the easiest way to stay in the loop with the contest!
